Handset operation keys

These keys determine the operation of the whole handset, or instruct it

to learn commands:

Key

What it does

STANDBY

Switches the System Controller or a

source to standby.

KNEKT

Selects the source from the main system in

a KNEKT Multi-Room system.

MACRO

Records a sequence of your commands,

called a macro, so you can replay them with

a single key press.

LEARN

Learns a command from another infra-red

handset and assigns it to one of the

Programmable handset keys.

AV System functions

These keys perform special functions unique to the AV 51 System:

What it does

OSG

Displays on-screen graphics information

superimposed on the video image.

QUIET

Selects Midnight Movie mode, which reduces

the volume of loud signals and increases the

volume of quiet ones for late-night listening.

SURR

Allows you to select the surround sound

processing mode using the - and + volume keys.

MODE

Not currently used.

RECORD FROM

Allows you to select the source to record

from.

RECORD TO

Allows you to select the output to record to.

PROG

Allows you to select an audio+video source,

and sets up the programmable keys for that

source.

SOURCE A

Displays the current audio input source, and

allows you to select a different audio input

using the - and + VOLUME keys or by pressing

one of the Audio/Video source select keys.

SOURCE V

Displays the current video input source, and

allows you to select a different video input

using the - and + VOLUME keys or by pressing

one of the Audio/Video source keys.
