Audio/Video source select keys
Pressing PROG followed by one of the Audio/Video source select keys
selects the corresponding audio+video source on the System Controlle
changes the function of the programmable keys to the appropriate func
for that source.
Pressing one of the Audio/Video source select keys on its own changes
function of the programmable keys without selecting the source on the
System Controller. This allows you to control one source while watchin
listening to another.
The Audio/Video source select keys are as follows:
Key Used for
TUNER FM tuner.
DAT Digital audio tape recorder.
CD CD player.
TAPE Tape recorder.
AUX 1 Auxiliary source 1.
AUX 2 Auxiliary source 2.
CABLE Cable television.
VCR Video cassette recorder.
TV Television.
SAT Satellite television.
LASER LaserDisc player.
Programmable source control keys
These keys provide functions for controlling sources, including CD
players, tape recorders, and FM tuners. Press one of the Audio/Video
source select keys to specify which source you want to control.
The source control keys are initially set up to control Linn products. You
can also program them for any of your other equipment using the
Personal Handset LEARN function.
The keys have the following functions:
Key What it does
STOP * Stops the source.
PAUSE = Pauses the source.
PLAY > Plays the source.
RED • Can be programmed to perform record or
another function.
SEARCH ¯ and ¼ Searches for a track on a CD player or
station on an FM tuner.
BLACK • Can be assigned to another function on a
source.
SKIP ” and ’ Moves between tracks on a CD player or
presets on an FM tuner.
