Note: You must select “Control Solution” to
distinguish control solution tests from blood
glucose tests. Marked control solution tests will
not be included in your averages. Do not use
the Control Solution mode for testing blood.
Apply Blood
Control Solution
“Apply Blood” will appear on the display
first. Use the Arrow button
to select
“Control Solution.” The meter will
automatically identify the test as a control
solution test in the logbook.
There are three choices in test mode. Use
the Arrow button
to select one. Do not
apply a sample until your choice appears
on the display.
• “Apply Blood” for fingertip
blood sample
• “Alternate Site” for arm blood sample
• “Control Solution” for checking
the system
