another option: Once the top plate is in, you
may now also hang joists directly from the wall
panel. Use a joist hanger with a nailable top
flange. The flange should bear at least 1.5” (2”
is best) on to the top plate. Nail the top flange
following the fastening schedule specified by
the engineer.

concerning your specific design requirements.
