Identifying Malicious Callers (Malicious Call

Identification [MCID])

You can ask your telephone company to trace a malicious caller during a conversation or after the
opposite party hangs up.
You will receive information on the malicious call later on.

To request MCID

A special arrangement with the ISDN carrier is required to utilise the MCID service. Consult
your dealer for further information.

The system is designed and manufactured in accordance with the following ETS (European
Telecommunication Standard) specifications:
ETS 300 130 Malicious Call Identification (MCID) supplementary service

The MCID service is only available for calls using an ISDN line. Not available during a three-
party conference call.

After dialling 737, if you hear a reorder tone or do not hear any tone, your request is not
accepted. To request MCID again, press the TRANSFER button (DPT) ; or press the
switchhook lightly (SLT) and then dial 737 again. If the caller hangs up, you must try again
within 10 seconds.

This service is also available for the ISDN extension users.
Please refer to the instruction manual of your ISDN extension for further information about
operation.
