depends on the network line’s capacity, the user’s PC’s performance, and the number of users
viewing the images.



(3) Pan/Tilt/Preset Control

Pan/Tilt: You can adjust the position of the camera by locating your
mouse cursor on the control panel and pressing the left mouse button.
The nearer the center of the panel you click, the more slowly the
VersaCam IC-360 moves, while the further from the center you click on
the panel, the faster the VersaCam moves. Releasing your finger from the
mouse button stops the camera movement.

Zoom: You can zoom the image in or out by dragging the ball on the left
vertical bar ‘T’, ‘W’ (telephoto, wide angle) on control panel.

Auto-Focus

: The VersaCam IC-360 has an auto-focus function. However, you can control and

optimize the focus of the image manually by dragging the ball on the right vertical bar ‘F’–‘N’
(farther, nearer) on the control panel.

Preset: The VersaCam IC-360 can be programmed with up to 64 preset
position/zoom locations. If you preset a point, the preset Dialog Box will be activated.
Your selection of a certain point on the list will make the
camera move to the preset point.












Take/Give Control: By clicking this button, user gets operation of the
pan/tilt/zoom/preset function (Take Control) or hands it over to another person
(Give Control). If one user takes control, another user will have to wait until the
first user finishes the PTZ operation. The Administrator may control how this
function works or if it is even enabled.

These functions will be explained in detail in chapter VI.


2) 720x486 Viewer

By selecting this viewer, a user monitors images of 720 by 486 pixels. This viewer has the identical
functions of the default viewer but the image panel will be 4 times bigger than that of the default
viewer and the frame rate will be lower because of more data (4 times).
