CAUTION!
To install this equipment, the sweeper should be equipped with the appropriate fi tting.

Snow brush assembly

Disassemble the suction inlet (17, Fig. G) (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
Disassemble the 3rd broom arm (23, Fig. G) (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
Operating on a level ground, bring the sweeper into a suitable position to install the snow brush (Fig. AV).
Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake (13, Fig. E).
Place the snow brush on the arms (19, Fig. AV) and secure it with the screws (14).
On both sides of the machine, tighten the brush height adjusting screws (15 and 16, Fig. AV) on the arms (19). If necessary,
this adjustment can be performed afterwards, to adjust the lifted snow brush.
Lift the adjustable feet (5, Fig. AV) completely and secure it with the knobs (6).
Remove the protection cover, then connect the hydraulic system quick couplings (1, Fig. AV) to the corresponding pipe
couplings (2).
Open the left side upper and lower lids (9 and 11, Fig. G) by disengaging the fasteners (10 and 12) with the supplied key.
If present, turn the lever (21, Fig. AV) from the position (21a) (high-pressure water gun activation) to the position (21b) (snow
brush activation).

NOTE
The lever (21, Fig. AV) is present only if the machine is equipped with high-pressure washing system (see 21 and 22,
Fig. F).

Close the left side upper and lower lids (11 and 9, Fig. G) by engaging the fasteners (10 and 12) with the supplied key.
Now the machine is ready to operate with the snow brush.

Snow brush disassembly

Disassemble the snow brush in the reverse order of assembly.
Secure and protect the snow brush properly.

Snow brush use

Assemble the snow brush (Fig. AV) according to the procedure shown in the relevant paragraphs.
To lift/lower the snow brush use the suction inlet lifting/lowering controls.
Turn on the snow brush with the switch (30, Fig. D).
To change the snow brush speed according to engine speed, use the knob (22, Fig. AV).
Before using the snow brush (10, Fig. AV), check its height from the ground according to the following procedure.

Drive the machine with the snow brush on a level ground.
Keep the machine stationary, lower the snow brush completely and let it rotate for few seconds.
Stop and lift the snow brush, then move the machine aside and engage the parking brake.
Check that the brush print (20, Fig. AV), along its length, is 0.8 to 1.6 in (2 to 4 cm) wide.
If the print is not within the specifi cations, remove the pins (13, Fig. AV) and adjust by lifting/lowering the wheels (11) with
the winches (12).
When the adjustment is completed, place the winches (12) in the original position and install the pins (13).

Engage the parking brake with the lever (13, Fig. E).
Lift the snow brush, then turn off the engine by turning the ignition key (24, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then
remove it.
Remove the clip (9, Fig. AV) and disconnect the rod (17) from the pin (8).
Tilt the brush assembly as necessary, then connect the hole (18, Fig. AV) to the relevant pin (8). Reinstall the clip (9).
Now the machine is ready to operate with the snow brush.
