The vertical bar on the left of your phone’s
display shows the strength of the cellular
signal your phone is receiving. The higher
the bar, the stronger the signal.

If the signal strength is low, try moving to
a different location. If you are using the
phone in a building, try moving closer to a
window.

If

SERVICE

appears, your phone is outside the

cellular service area. This means you cannot make
or receive calls until you move the phone back into
the cellular service area.

RECEIVING A CALL

When your phone receives an incoming call, it rings
(or vibrates if a vibrating battery is installed and vi-
brate is selected) and flashes

. To answer a

call, press any key except

. To stop the

phone from ringing without answering the call imme-
diately, press

are ready to answer the call.
