Hint: To quickly store the displayed caller’s number
(if available) into the first empty speed-dial memory,

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

To increase or decrease the earpiece volume during
a call, press

(to increase) or

(to decrease).

Your phone displays

VOLUME

and a horizon-

tal bar indicating the vol-
ume level. The more
filled bar segments, the
higher the volume.

USING MUTE

To turn off the phone’s microphone during a call so
the other party on the phone cannot hear you (so
you can talk privately with someone else in the
room, for example), press

MENU

briefly. Use

or

to select

MUTE

and press

.

MUTED

appears.

To turn on the microphone again, press

MENU

brief-

ly then press

.

MUTE OFF

appears.

VOLUME
