2.1 Connect to the Internet via a Host PPPoE Dial-

in Client

Introduction

This section explains how you can connect to the Internet using a Broadband PPPoE
dial-in application. The PPP over Ethernet connection scenario provides PPP-like dial-in
behavior over the virtual Ethernet segment.

BroadBand dial-in

To connect to the Internet you can use:

An MS Windows XP broadband dial-in client.

A Mac OS X broadband dial-in client (Ethernet connectivity only).

Note

Required for PPPoE session connectivity in case of
