Inserting and removing SmartMedia cards
Removing a card
Check that the Mode dial
to “OFF”.
Open the card cover.
Push the card in.
● The card pops out for easy
removal.
Grasp the card and pull it
out.

Notes on Removing a Card
• Never open the card cover, eject the card, remove the batter-
ies or unplug the AC adapter while the card access lamp is lit.
This could destroy the data stored on the card.
Card access lamp
