3 – Corrections to the original manual

Note the following corrections and changes to the
original Reference Manual. Though you probably
will not find that these mistakes affect your under-
standing of how the Pocketstudio 5 works, you may

want to make these corrections in the Reference
Manual
.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience
caused by these mistakes.

Mac OS 8

In the original documentation supplied with the
Pocketstudio 5 it was mistakenly stated that the
Pocketstudio 5 would function with Mac OS 8. This

is not the case, and we would like to take this oppor-
tunity to apologize for this error.

“Setting up the song arrangement” on page 12

Although the text here describes a 4-bar fill, this
should actually be an 8-bar fill.

“Adding song sections” on page 13

Replace “Move to the section to be deleted…” with
“Move to the section before which the new section is
to be added…”.

“Setting up the chords” on page 15

On the sixth line of the second column, remove the
period from the following phrase: “should be
inverted (

k

). to allow for…”.

“Setting up the chords” on page 16

In step 7, change “to the left” to “to the right”.

“Octave” on page 21

Replace “active” with “octave”.

“Absolute location” on page 29

Replace “…the frames and minutes fields…” with
“…the frames and seconds fields…”.

“To use the Pocketstudio 5 with a computer (non Windows 98SE)” on page 37

“Max OS 9.x” should, of course, be “Mac OS 9.x”.

“Copy and paste” on page 41

On line 6 (left column), replace “…where you want
the mark to be copied.” with “…where you want the
section to be copied.”.

Also at the end of this section, replace “…press the

ENTER

key to copy the selected area to the

End

point.” with “…press the

ENTER

key to copy the

selected area to the

To

point.”
