two IDE HDD drives and two DC-820Bs with seven SCSI drives. Also, refer

If any device(s) among E: through J: is a removable medium, you still have a
chance to access the unrecognized drive, which is over the limit of the
maximum eight devices. Let’s say that drive F: is an MO device. You can
then set the BIOS INT 13H device option as HD (refer to the next subsection
for more details). In this way, the DC-820B’s BIOS INT 13H won’t sense
its existence and the new eight devices’ scanning sequence would be re-
arranged as follows:
