always duplicates the Master Disk to the Backup Disk (slave). If one of the
Mirror-Pair drives is malfunctioning, you can try to adjust the proper Mas-
ter-Backup relation by selecting the Mirrored to SCSI ID in the ECU and
then execute this module to put things in order.
Followed by the Mirrored to SCSI ID setting in the previous sub-section, you
still need to properly set the mirror initialization options:
Firstof all, you have to set the mirror-pair drives, one to Master Disk and the
other to Backup Disk, by pressing the <Space Bar>. The menu will then
require you to choose one of the two options: to delete the data in just the
Backup Disk or both of them for initialization.
If the data in the Master Disk drive is useful, then you should let the option
be
N. The initialization will then just delete the data in the Backup Disk drive
and leave the Master Disk intact.
