Some rooms have floors that are not

entirely level. This means that the height to

the ceiling may vary about the room.

When taking measurements of the room

always use the lowermost point of the floor

as your reference plane.

This may force you to cut the baseboard

somewhat in some places, but the result

will look far better than if the baseboard fails

to go all the way down to the floor
