The HTTP and RTSPU SAPs described above automatically advertise a URL that contains
the VBrick's configured IP address. There are some situations when those URLs won't work
for players—for example when your VBrick is behind a firewall with Network Address
Translations (NAT) or when you are reflecting your VBrick's stream through a server. In
those cases you may wish to send SAPs to advertise a custom URL for your stream that uses
the NATed address of your VBrick or the address of the reflecting server. The

External Server

configuration gives you the flexibility to advertise any URL for your stream.
