Configuration: Reflector > Multicast
Use this page to configure a Multicast destination. As noted, the Reflector sends exactly
what is received, and for this reason, the configured destinations do not let you select
different video and audio rates. The Reflector will only transmit multicast when the source
stream is being received. See Configuration: Encoder > Multicast on page 35 for a
description of the fields on this page.
Configuration: Reflector > Announce (SAP)
Use this page to configure a session announcement. Reflector announcements
automatically start and stop depending on the availability of the Reflector source stream. See
Configuration: Encoder > Announce (SAP) on page 38 for a description of the fields on this
page.
Note Support for HTTP pull from a URL includes support up to five HTTP 301 or HTTP
302 messages to redirect the requesting client to another server as sometimes required
for load balancing or Content Delivery Network (CDN) environments.
