Answering system operation
Set new message tone
Ths feature programs the system to beep every 10 seconds to alert you of new
messages. The beep wll stop when all new messages have been revewed.
• Press the softkey
MENU when n dle mode.
• Press the softkey twce to reach ANSWERING SYSTEM. Press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey once to reach NEW MESSAGE TONE, and press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Use the softkey or to toggle between ON and OFF. Press the softkey
SET to confirm, and there will be a confirmation tone.
Setting answering system
Set security code
A four-dgt securty code s requred to access the answerng system from
any touch tone telephone. The factory default code s 4321.
• Press the softkey
MENU n dle mode.
• Press the softkey twce to reach ANSWERING SYSTEM. Press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey twce to reach SECURITY CODE, and press the softkey
SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey CHANGE to change the dgt. Press the softkey NEXT
to move the cursor to the next dgt.
• Press the softkey SET when finished, and there will be a confirmation
tone.
• Use the softkey or to toggle between ON and OFF. Press the softkey
SET to confirm, and there will be a confirmation tone.
