Recordable ringer
You can record a unque rnger as ether your default rnger or as a dstnctve rnger assgned to a
specific phonebook entry. You can record with either the provided audio patch cord (not the USB cord),
or wth the handset mcrophone.
Cued-up musc typcally produces the best soundng recorded rnger. It s recommended to begn
recordng your rnger at the begnnng of a song for optmal audblty rather than clppng a porton
from the mddle.
Record a sound clip by using the audio patch cord
• Insert the 3.5mm plug (the larger end) nto the headset jack of your PC or audo source. Then nsert
the 2.5mm plug (the smaller end) nto the headset jack on the sde of the handset.
• Press MENU/SEL when n dle mode.
• Press the UP NavKey three tmes to reach Sounds, and press MENU/SEL to select.
• Press the DOWN NavKey once to reach Record Sound Clips, and press MENU/SEL to
select.
• Press the DOWN NavKey once to reach Using Audio Cable, and press MENU/SEL to
select.
• Lsten to the musc through your handset speaker. Adjust the recordng volume at the audo source
to the desred volume level.
• Press the softkey RECORD to start recordng, and press the softkey STOP when finished.
• Press the softkey STOP when finished.
• Press the softkey PLAY to play the sound clp recorded. Press the softkey STOP to stop playng
anytme.
• Press the softkey SAVE f you want to save ths sound clp.
• Use the dal pad to enter the Sound Clip Name.
