Installation
Install handset battery
• Press the tab and slde cover away from the battery
compartment.
• Place the battery n the compartment wth the metal
contacts algned, as shown n the dagram.
• Poston the battery compartment cover and slde t
towards the unt untl t clcks nto place.
• Put the handset n the base unt to start chargng the
new battery for at least 12 hours.
You can keep the battery charged by returnng the
handset to the base unt after each use. When the
battery power s fully depleted, a full recharge takes
about 12 hours.
• Use only the
VTech battery
and AC power
adapter suppled
wth ths
telephone.
• If the handset wll
not be used for
a long perod of
tme, remove the
battery to prevent
possble leakage.
