• The Humidifier should only be used with delivery tubes or accessories
recommended by ResMed. Connection of other delivery tubes or
accessories could result in injury, or damage to the device.
• The Humidifier, including the associated tubing, is for single-patient
use and must not be re-used on another person. This is to avoid the
risk of cross-infection.
• There exists the possibility that if the device is placed above the
level of the patient and is tipped over, or if the tubing is filled with
condensate, the mask might fill with heated water. The Humidifier
should therefore be used with caution in patients who are unable to
guard their airways, or are unable to pull the mask off, for example
following a stroke. Attention should be given to the relative risks and
benefits.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the Humidifier docking station. There are
no user-serviceable parts inside. Repairs and internal servicing should
only be performed by an authorised service agent.
• If liquids are inadvertently spilled into or on the Humidifier docking
station, unplug the PAP device from the power outlet. Disconnect the
docking station from the PAP device and allow the docking station to
drain and dry before using.
• Do not operate the Humidifier if it is not working properly or if any
part of the PAP device or Humidifier has been dropped or damaged.
• Keep the PAP device power cord away from hot surfaces.
• Do not drop or insert any object into any opening or tubes.
• Do not use the Humidifier in the presence of flammable or explosive
materials.
• Explosion hazard—do not use in the vicinity of flammable anesthetics.
• Follow all precautions when using supplemental oxygen.
Limited Warranty
ResMed warrants that your ResMed product shall be free from defects in
material and workmanship for the period specified below from the date
of purchase by the initial consumer. This warranty is not transferable.

ResMed Humidifiers, ResControl TM , ResLink TM ,
ResTraxx TM
1 Year
ResMed flow generators (including external
power supply units) 2 Years
Water chambers, accessories and mask systems
(including mask frame, cushion, headgear and
tubing). Excludes single use devices. 90 Days
If the product fails under conditions of normal use, ResMed will repair or
replace, at its option, the defective product or any of its components.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
a) any damage caused as a result of improper use, abuse, modification or
alteration of the product;
b) repairs carried out by any service organisation that has not been
expressly authorised by ResMed to perform such repairs;
c) any damage or contamination due to cigarette, pipe, cigar or other
smoke;
d) any damage caused by water being spilled on or into the product.
Warranty is void on product sold, or resold, outside the region of original
purchase. Warranty claims on defective product must be made by the
initial consumer at the point of purchase.
This warranty is in lieu of all other express or implied warranties, including
any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose. Some regions or states do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
ResMed shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential
damages claimed to have occurred as a result of the sale, installation
or use of any ResMed product. Some regions or states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from region
to region.

Használati utasítások
A H4i-kompatibilis, ResMed készülék CPAP, bilevel vagy nem invazív,
légzést segítő készülékből származó levegő párásítására szolgál. A
készüléket csak az orvos által javasolt módon használja.
Ellenjavallatok
A készülék használata nem javasolt olyan betegeknek, akiknek a felső
(supraglottikus) légútjait áthidalták. Kérjük továbbá, hogy olvassa el a
vonatkozó kézikönyvet a pozitív légúti nyomás (PAP) terápiával társuló
ellenjavallatokról.
A légpárásító részei
Lásd az A ábrát az 1. oldalon.
A melegített légpárásító két fő részből áll:
(1) tartóállvány és (2) vízkamra. A tartóállványnak a következő részei
vannak (3) légkimenet; (4) fedő; (5) fedőzáró; (6) vezérlőtárcsa; (7)
csatolózár; (8) melegítő lap; (9) retesz; (10) jelzőfény. A vízkamra
tartalmazza a (11) folyadékkiömlés elleni védőelemet is.
A légpárásító használatra való előkészítése
Lásd a B és C ábrát az 1. oldalon.
Húzza ki a csatlakozót az áramlatgenerátorból (a) és csatlakoztassa a
tartóállvány hátoldalához (b).
1. Igazítsa a légpárásítót az áramlagenerátorhoz és nyomja őket össze
amíg helyrekattannak.
2. Csatlakoztassa a tápkábelt az áramlat generátor csatlakozóaljzatához.
3. Csatlakoztassa a másik végét a hálózati csatlakozóhoz. Helyezze
a csatolr egységet egyenletes, sima felületre az ágy mellé az alvó
helyzetnél alacsonyabban. Győződjön meg róla, hogy a felület nem
érzékeny hőre és/vagy nedvességre, vagy használjon védőszőnyeget.
4. A levegőcső egyik végét csatlakoztassa szorosan a légkimenethez.
5. Csatlakoztassa az összeszerelt maszkrendszert a levegőcső szabad
végéhez.
FIGYELEM
• Győződjön meg róla, hogy az áramlatgenerátor nincs elektromos
hálózathoz csatlakoztatva mielőtt a tartóállványhoz csatlakoztatja.
• A légpárásító tartóállványát csak akkor lehet csatlakoztatni vagy
lecsatolni mikor a vízkamra üres.
• Ne szállítsa az áramlásgenerátort a hozzácsatolt légpárásítóval.
• A H4i invazív alkalmazása ellenjavallt. Invazív használat esetén az
EN ISO 8185 külső párásító használatát ajánlja.
A vízkamra feltöltése
Lásd a D ábrát az 1. oldalon.
1. Nyissa fel a fedelet.
2. Távolítsa el a vízkamrát.
3. Töltse fel friss, tiszta vízzel legfeljebb a vízszint maximumát jelző jelig.
Megjegyzés: A vízkamrát a feltöltés elvégzése előtt el kell távolítani a
H4i-ből, különben víz kerülhet az áramlásgenerátorba. A folyadékkiömlés
elleni védőelemet is a helyére kell illeszteni.
4. Tegye vissza a vízkamrát a tartóállványra.
Megjegyzés: Győződjön meg arról, hogy nem gyűlt össze víz a fűtőlap és
a vízkamra között.
5. Csukja vissza a fedelet meggyőződve róla, hogy helyrekattant.
FIGYELEM
Ne töltse túl a vízkamrát, mert a víz bemehet az áramlásgenerátorba
vagy a levegőcsőbe.
VIGYÁZAT
Ne használjon semmilyen adalékot (pl. illóolajokat vagy parfümöt).
Ezek csökkenthetik a légpárásító párakimenetét és/vagy rongálhatják
a vízkamra anyagát.
A H4i melegítése VPAP vagy S8 Series készülékkel
(Nem minden ResMes PAP eszközön elérhető)
