DVDPak
Arrow Keys: Used to move among menu choices and adjust
variables (such as contrast) up and down.
Keypad Controls
Select Key: Used to choose options in the Units menu (Auto,
Meters and Feet).
Menu Key: Used to bring up a menu of display options such
as Color, Brightness, Contrast, Units.
Brightness Key: Used to directly control the camera LEDʼs
brightness up or down.
Microphone Mute Key: Used to mute the microphone while
recording or activate it to record comments during an inspec-
tion.
Sonde Key: Used to activate the built-in Sonde for tracing
the location of the camera head.
Flip Key: Used to flip the image on the display vertically
(5.7" LCD display only).
Return Button: Brings up the Sony DVDR Menu.
DVDR Button Controls
Power Button: Turns the DVD
Pak
system ON or OFF. Also
controls display power.
Record Button: Starts the Sony DVDR recording.
Arrow Buttons: Highlight a menu selection.
Enter/Select Button: Chooses a highlighted menu option.
Stop Button: Stops recording or playback.
Eject Button: Opens the disc tray.
DVDPak Controls
Zero Key: Used to establish a temporary zero-point for the
distance counter for units equipped with the Count
Plus

Display Power Key: Used to power the DVD
Pak
display
on or off. Does not control DVDR power.
Battery Level: Indicates the charge state of the battery.
DVDPak Display Icons
Microphone Off: Appears when the microphone has been
switched off.
Sonde: Appears when the Sonde is switched on.
Brightness Control: Appears when adjusting the display
brightness.
