Using the disc menu

Searching for an item directly

MP3/WMA/WAV/VCD/CD
1 Enter the search mode.
• Each time you press DIRECT, the item to search
for changes as follows:
DVD-Video Chapter → title → canceled
DVD-VR
Chapter → program/playlist
→ canceled
DivX*/MPEG1/
MPEG2/JPEG/
MP3/WMA/
WAV
Track/file → folder →
canceled
VCD/CD Track → canceled
2 Select a desired item.

• For DivX*/MPEG1/MPEG2/JPEG/MP3/WMA/WAV,
track/file is searched within the same folder.
• For DVD-VR, program/playlist search is possible
during Original program playback (PG)/Playlist
playback (PL).
• To erase a misentry, press CLR (clear) while holding
SHIFT.
* DivX files are playable from discs only.
