Material cone
When installing the measuring probe in a
vessel, be aware that conical heaps which
alter the switching point can form in solid ma-
terial. We recommend choosing an installation
location that enables the electrode to detect
the average value of the conical heap.
The measuring probe must be installed in a
way that takes the filling and emptying aper-
tures of the vessel into account. To compen-
sate measurement errors caused by the
conical heap, you should install the electrode
at a distance of approx.

wall. Make the distance to the wall as big as
possible for solids which tend to form cor-
nices.
