5.1 Measured value image

VEGASCAN 850 can administrate up to 60
measurement loops. For transfer of the meas-
ured values of a measurement loop,
VEGASCAN provides up to 60 PC/DCS out-
puts. One or several PC/DCS outputs with
individual index can be assigned to each of
these measurement loops. The configuration
of VEGASCAN is made with the VEGA ad-
justment software VVO (see chapter "2 PC/
DCS output in VEGASCAN“).

Measured value image in mode 50E2A

In this operating mode the PC/DCS values
are imaged in blocks (VEGASCAN) depend-
ing on the PC/DCS output number.

The assignment of the individual PC/DCS
values in blocks is shown as diagram. For
readout of the measured values from
VEGASCAN, the Profibus master has to send
a control command to VEGASCAN.

Control command 0xCC:

When enquiring with this control command,
the PC/DCS values will be grouped in as-
cending sequence acc. to the PC/DCS out-
put number. The measured value image is
always sorted acc. to the PC/DCS output
number.
