Mount PLICSRADIO at the minimum height from the ground, or from

the highest obstacle that touches the Fresnel zone, as indicated in

the table; use a mast if necessary. With the 2.4 GHz standard model,

an optional external antenna with a 3 meter cable is available to allow

mounting at the required height.

Use the recommended cables (see chapter "Connecting to power

supply") and tighten the cable gland.
You can give your instrument additional protection against moisture

penetration by leading the connection cable downward in front of the

cable entry. Rain and condensation water can thus drain off. This ap-

plies mainly to outdoor mounting as well as installation in areas where

high humidity is expected (e.g. through cleaning processes) or on

cooled or heated vessels.

4.2 Mounting preparations

The following tools are required for mounting:

Allen wrench size 4

Phillips head size 2 or Torx size T10

Slotted screwdriver 3 mm

PLICSRADIO T61 in Ex version is a corresponding, intrinsically safe

piece of equipment and must not be installed in hazardous areas.

Safe operation is only ensured if the operating instructions and EG

type approval certificate are observed.
