Playback of the files stored in the USB storage

BASIC OPERATIONS

Subtitle
Press the SUBTITLE button on the remote control and you can activate the external MPEG-
4 subtitle. Pressing two times the button and than you can change the subtitle languages (if
available). Press again the button and you can switch off the displaying of the external subti-
tle
By using the external MPEG-4 subtitle please pay attention to following rules:

1.

Please uses only external MPEG-4 subtitle with the format Subrip (unformatted) and
Sami.

2.

The external subtitle must be in the same folder like the video file.

3.

The subtitle file must be the same filename like the video file, expect the suffix.

4.

If there is impossible code to express in the MPEG-4 file, it may be displayed as " _
"mark on the display.

5.

Please pay attention to the length of the file name. Do not use long file names.

6.

For MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 you can not uses the external subtitles.


The important playback functions like fast reverse or forward, next track, slow motion, zoom
and displaying the information are also available, compare to the playback of a Video-DVD.




1.

Make sure that there is no disc inserted, insert a card (SD, MMC, MS) into the mem-
ory card socket and turn on the DVD Player. The files will be read automatically.

2.

“READ CARD” will be shown on the screen and the files will be displayed when the
unit has finished reading.


Note:
Playback of memory card files can only be supported if there is no disc inserted in the
player.

Make sure that there is no disc inserted, connect the USB storage device to the
USB socket of the main unit and turn on the DVD Player. The files will be read auto-
matically.

2.

“READ USB” will be shown on the screen and the files will be displayed when the
unit has finished reading.

3.

Please remove the USB storage device if you don’t want to use the USB mode any
longer.


Notes:

The supported USB format is USB1.1.

Playback of USB files can only be supported if there is no disc inserted in the player.
