Maintenance/Service
Before checking:
-
Mark level surface for
broom adjustment
check by chalk.
- Lower cylinder broom and let it run
dry.
- Lift cylinder broom and forward the
Kleen Sweep 40R/47R a bit.
- With the correct broom adjustment
the parallel sweeping marks have to
appear on the floor (sweeping track).
The sweeping track width is to be
1.97 in. (50 mm) with the Kleen Sweep
40R/47R.
The sweeping track width can be adju-
sted by the star knob (Fig. 12/1) as fol-
lows:

- Open seat hood
- Loosen handle (Fig. 12/1)
- Turns star knob (Fig. 12/2)
- Fix handle (Fig. 12/1)
- to the left = wider sweeping track
- to the right = smaller sweeping track
With one turn of the
knob, the track widens
or broadens by approx.
0.37 in. (10 mm).
When exceeding the
sweeping track width,
the engine protection
may be activated.
