• Database: The collection of data that is found in the ISRP application.
In order to run IntelliTrack ISRP, you must establish the database con-
nection.
• Authentication: The method that IntelliTrack ISRP uses to validate
your PC’s user status with your SQL Server login name and password.
When installing the ISRP workstation application, you must know your
SQL Server Authentication type. It is either SQL Authentication or NT
Authentication.
• Data Link Properties Form: Displays the server name, server login
information, and the database name. It is accessible from your program
folder (C:\Program Files\Intelli-
Track\ISRP\DATA.UDL) by double-clicking on the DATA.UDL
file or from your ISRP workstation application: Tools > Change Data-
base Connection. You may change the server and/or database location
for the ISRP workstation application via this form.
Single Workstation Setup
In a single workstation setup, the ISRP workstation application, the data-
base, and SQL Express are installed on one PC (the workstation application
will access this server). By default, SQL Express is placed in C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90. The database is attached to this directory.
Note: If you already have SQL Server, SQL Express, or MSDE installed on
your machine, the installation wizard will detect it and will not install
MSDE. It will install the workstation application and the database.
1. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The Welcome window appears,
welcoming you to IntelliTrack ISRP v7.x. Click Next to continue.
2. The Select Components window appears. Select the Full option to
install the ISRP application, database, and SQL Express on the same
PC. When you are ready to continue, click Next.
Note: If you already have SQL Server, SQL Express, or MSDE installed on
your machine, the installation wizard will detect it and will not install
MSDE. It will install the workstation application and the database.
