Procedure
NOTE: Replacement of the battery in the PS-B unit other than with the type specified
in this documentation may present a risk of fire or explosion.

Action

Disconnect the power supply to the PS-B unit.

Touch the housing or ground connection (not the power supply) to discharge
any electrostatic charge from your body.

Remove the black plastic cover from the battery compartment.

Carefully pull out the battery using removal strips.

The battery should not be held by its edges. Insulated tweezers may also be
used for inserting the battery.

Insert the new battery with correct polarity.

To make the next battery change easier, be sure the removal strip is in place
when inserting battery.

Reconnect the power supply to the PS-B unit (plug in power cable and press
power button).

You may need to reset the date and time in the BIOS settings.
