4.1

Cleaning the Display

When the surface or frame of the display become dirty, soak a soft cloth in water with a neutral detergent,

wring the cloth tightly, and wipe the display.

4.2

Cleaning the Fan Filter

Since excessive dirt and dust in the filter of the PS-3710A’s electric fan can potentially affect the performance

of the unit, regular inspection and cleaning of the filter is strongly recommended.

Remove the fan cover with pressing in

on both fan cover clips.

(2)

Remove the filter from the fan cover.

(3)

Clean the filter completely.

If stubborn dirt or stains are present,

wash the filter with a neutral detergent.

(4)

After reattaching the filter to the filter cover, reattach the fan cover with its cover attachment screw.

• Do not use paint thinner, organic solvents, or a strong acid compound to clean the

unit.

• Do not use hard or pointed objects to operate the touch-screen panel, since it can

damage the panel surface.

• The PS-A's fan has a lifetime. (Expected life: approx. 5 years at the ambient

temperature 25

o

C)

This lifetime may be shortened depending on the usage environment.

When the fan needs to be replaced, please contact your local PS-A distributor
immediately.

The fan rotation speed can be monitored on the System Monitor.

• Do not wring the filter to dry it.
• When drying the filter, dry it without exposing it to direct sunlight.
• Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching to the PS-A.

• Be sure the fan cover is securely attached to the PS-A unit. This is to ensure the

fan cover does not fall of while the PS-A unit is operating.
