HQoS queue policy

HQoS hierarchy is achieved by creating a set of queues.

A queue is rate shaped and the resulting traffic is referenced as a scheduler flow.

The scheduler flow out of a queue is referenced by a scheduler policy.

A queue stores packets based on a selected matching criteria.

To configure the queue policies, enter commands such as the following.

Brocade(config)# shaper-burst-size 10

Brocade(config)# hqos queue-policy Q-5-4

Brocade(config)# shaper-rate 10000000; default shaper rate (10G)

Brocade(config)# shaper-burst-size 10; default burst size (10KB)

Brocade(config)# hqos queue-policy Q-3-2

Brocade(config)# shaper-rate 10000000

Brocade(config)# shaper-burst-size 10

Brocade(config)# hqos queue-policy Q-1-0
