Only use original Suomy accessories or spare parts, or those recommended by Suomy for use with this model of helmet - this will ensure
reliability, safety, and compatibility with the helmet used.
The use of non-original components or accessories invalidates the guarantee (see guarantee conditions on page 23) and could
compromise safety requirements.
MAINTENANCE
To clean the shell only use water and pH neutral soap; let the helmet dry naturally, never expose it to heat sources.
Cleaning the helmet with petroleum or chemical solvents, or the application of stickers or paints, could corrode the structure of the helmet,
compromising its safety characteristics without making this damage visible to the wearer. Do not apply stickers, petrol or other chemical
solvents to this helmet.
Only use a damp cloth with pH neutral soap to clean the internal lining. Let the cleaned parts dry naturally away from the sun and without being
exposed to sources of heat.
Clean the helmet retention system regularly with warm water and pH neutral soap.
Do not use solvents, chemical detergents or lubricants.
Clean the polycarbonate visor by initially rinsing it in warm running water, then washing it with a gentle liquid detergent; dry it with a soft, clean
cloth. Handle the visor with care when cleaning to prevent damage to the anti-scratch surface coating. Do not use solvents, alcohol, benzine,
thinners or abrasive powders; these materials are aggressive and could harm the structural resistance of the polycarbonate or scratch the
surface of the visor, causing damage to its mechanical and optical properties.
All painted surfaces are liable to natural alterations due to exposure to atmospheric agents; in particular, colours created with fluorescent or
UV paints could be liable to quicker natural discolouration, with a decrease in their intensity. This phenomenon can be accentuated when the
helmet is exposed to particularly intense light for long periods.
Suomy accepts no responsibility for alterations to painted surfaces due to wear and tear (effects of sunlight, vapours, detergents,
impacts, scratches).
These effects will not jeopardise the performance level and quality of the SUOMY 3LOGY.
The SUOMY 3LOGY has been designed and approved for use with the cheek pads (or chin guard depending on the configuration)
and fitted head guards; the removal of these items must only be carried out for their replacement and/or maintenance. The SUOMY
3LOGY must never be used without these items correctly fitted in accordance with the instructions in the subsequent paragraphs.
