1. RETENTION SYSTEM

see figure 1

The structure of the system may vary depending on the country where the helmet is sold, with regard to particular approval requirements.

GENERAL STANDARDS

Adjust the fastening system so that when the helmet is fastened the strap fits snugly against the jaw and the following conditions are met:

it must not be possible to remove the helmet

if the helmet is grasped at the back and turned forwards the helmet cannot be removed and stays firmly on the head.

If the helmet tends to slip or turn freely around the head check the strap adjustment for the right pressure and try again.

If it is not possible to close the fastening system effectively do not use the helmet.

After adjusting the strap ensure the free tab on the strap is correctly positioned in the adjustment buckle [(C) see figure - 1].

MICROMETRIC ADJUSTMENT RETENTION SYSTEM

1.1 Fastening strap

There are eight stop positions to easily adjust the retention system strap, depending on the shape of the

wearer's head.

Push the plastic flap (A) into the guide (B) until the strap clips in completely and fits snugly to the jaw.

Once fastened pull hard on the strap to check it has locked correctly. If it is not possible to fasten correctly

adjust the length of the strap by passing it through the buckle (C). Repeat this operation until the retention

system is tightened correctly.

1.2 Unfastening the strap

Release the plastic flap (A), pulling the fabric tab (D) on the flap (B).

Unfasten the strap and take the helmet off.

2. PROTECTIVE SHIELD AND EXTERNAL CHEEK SECTIONS

see figure 2

2.1 Removal

To remove the protective shields remove the three fixing screws [(1) see Fig. 2] then slip off towards the outside of the helmet. To detach the

side cheek sections, after removing the protective shields unscrew the three screws [(3) see Fig. 2]. Then proceed with removing the cheek
