The Net2 events appear in the drop down box with the “Net2” prefix.
Next step is to configure the sources filter. Click the Sources button to open the item picker. Select the All Doors
entry to accept events from all Net2 doors or drill down the containment tree to select a specific door. This
operation may be repeated to add several specific doors to the filter.
You may also add a time profile to the alarm definition, if you only want the event to trigger alarms at specific
intervals of the day. Please refer to the XProtect online help for a guide.
If the Net2 event is generated by a specific door, then the generated alarms will include clips from the cameras
which you have associated with that door (as described in the Define mappings between doors and cameras
section) around the time of the event. You may alternatively add specific cameras to the alarm. But beware, that
this will overrule the default behavior. Click the Select.. to the right of the Related Cameras field and select the
camera(s) to be included in the alarm.
