Lower the cover ( ), keeping the coupler

cable in the coupler cable port ( ).

z

z

Slide the cover ( ) until it clicks into

place.

Connect the power cord.

z

z

Insert one end of the power cord into the

compact power adapter, and then plug

the other end into a power outlet.

z

z

Turn the camera on and use it as desired.

z

z

When finished, turn the camera off and

unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Do not disconnect the adapter or unplug the power cord while

the camera is still on. This may erase your shots or damage the

camera.

Do not attach the adapter or adapter cord to other objects. Doing so

could result in malfunction or damage to the product.

Using a Tele-Converter (Sold Separately)

Attaching Tele-converter TC-DC58E and Conversion Lens Adapter

LA-DC58L (both sold separately) enables you to use a focal length of 1.4x.

Remove the ring.

Make sure the camera is off.

z

Hold down the ring release button ( )

and turn the ring in the direction of the

arrow ( ).

z

z

Align the ○ mark on the ring with the ●

mark on the camera, and then lift the

ring off.

Attach the conversion lens

adapter.

z

z

Align the ○ mark on the conversion lens

adapter with the ● mark on the camera,

and then turn the adapter in the direction

of the arrows until it locks.

To remove the adapter, hold down the

ring release button and turn the adapter

in the opposite direction.
