Cannot communicate with the battery pack. Continue using this battery pack?

- You attached a battery pack that is not recommended by Canon for use with this camcorder.
- If you are using a battery pack recommended by Canon for use with this camcorder, there

may be a problem with the camcorder or battery pack. Consult a Canon Service Center.

Cannot convert scenes recorded at 60P

- Scenes that were recorded at 60P cannot be converted to MP4.

Cannot convert the scene

- You cannot convert scenes recorded using another device.

B Cannot copy

- The total size of the scenes you selected to copy exceeds the available space on the memory

card. Delete some recordings on the memory card (

A 53) or reduce the number of scenes to

copy.

- The memory card already contains the maximum number of AVCHD scenes (3,999 scenes).

Delete some scenes (

A 53) to free some space.

Cannot divide the scene

- The scene could not be divided because the camcorder’s internal scene management data log

is full. Delete some scenes and photos (

A 53) and try dividing the scene again.

Cannot join 24P and 30P scenes to convert them

- Scenes recorded with a frame rate of 24P cannot be joined with those recorded with a frame

rate of 30P.

Cannot load canvas

- The canvas file that was saved on the memory is corrupted.
- Canvas data cannot be read from canvas files created using other devices.

Cannot play back

- You may not be able to play back scenes recorded or edited using another device.
- There is a problem with the memory. If this message appears often without apparent reason,

contact a Canon Service Center.

B Cannot play back Cannot access the built-in memory

- There is a problem with the built-in memory. Save your recordings (

A 105) and initialize the

built-in memory using the [Complete Initialization] option (

A 29). If the problem persists,

contact a Canon Service Center.

Cannot play back Check the memory card

- There is a problem with the memory card. Save your recordings (

A 105) and initialize the

memory card using the [Complete Initialization] option (

A 29). If the problem persists, use a

different memory card.

B Cannot play the movies in the built-in memory Initialize only using the camcorder

- The camcorder’s built-in memory was initialized using a computer. Initialize the built-in mem-

ory with this camcorder (

A 29).
