Copy pair status
The Flex Copy XP pane displays the status of Flex Copy XP copy pairs (see ” Pair list ” on page 36).
Figure 13 illustrates the transition of Flex Copy XP pair status, relationships between pair status and Flex
Copy XP operations, and relationships between pair status and RAID Manager XP operations.

NOTE: Figure 13 illustrates the pair status transition only for the most common use of Flex Copy XP.
Additional information about the pair status transition is as follows:
• When performing the Create Pair (No Copy) operation using Flex Copy XP (Command View XP or XP
Remote Web Console), the pair status becomes PAIR (NOCOPY).
• When operating the copy pair using RAID Manager XP, more pair status types can occur than the pair
statuses shown in Figure 13 . This is because the operation corresponds to the Business Copy XP
operation.
• If copy processing terminates abnormally because of a failure, the pair status becomes PSUE.
Table 4 shows the transition of Flex Copy XP pair status in detail.

• A: pair status before the pair operation
• B: pair status while processing
