Breaking Down the Repeater

Note: Always start field operations with a fresh, fully charged battery. The battery should not be charged to more than
14 volts or enabled to go to less than 12.0 volts. Operating the repeater at less than 12.0 volts can cause erratic data
transfer problems.

Note: Do not leave the power cable connected to the repeater overnight, as the resulting reduced battery power can
significantly decrease the effective range of the signal.

Note: A repeater can also be powered by an AC to 12.0 Volt DC inverter plugged into an outlet. The power-supply
must provide at least 3.0 amps of 12 - 14V DC.

Note: To turn off the repeater, disconnect the battery and/or power cable.

Breaking Down the Repeater

If the repeater is to be moved, use the following procedure to break down the repeater for transportation and storage:

1. Disconnect the repeater from the power supply.

2. Disconnect the repeater from the mount.

3. Store the repeater equipment in a safe place and transport to next location.
