The Short Message Service (SMS) enables
to send or receive text messages to or
from other mobile phones. You can store,
edit and forward messages as well as save
any of the numbers they may contain.
These SMS are stored on the phone mem-
ory; they may also be stored in the SIM
card if they are sent by a service provider.

Reading a received SMS

message

When the phone receives an SMS message
a new SMS alert tone sounds and

is

displayed. The message is automatically
stored in the phone or in the SIM card. If

flashes, it indicates the SIM or the

phone memory are full and cannot store
any other messages. Delete messages to
allow new messages to be delivered.
