Network Settings
Registering the IP Address
Perform the following procedure to assign the IP address.
Notes • To connect the machine to the network using TCP/IP protocol, you must set the IP address on
the machine. The IP address must be unique to the machine and should be obtained from your
network administrator.
• Any changes made to the network settings will become valid after you turn the power to the
machine off and then back on again.
• If you use the following procedure to manually register the IP address, be sure to turn the
DHCP setting Off and the TCP/IP setting On. For details, refer to Chapter 3 in Advanced
Operation Guide, Network Settings.
1 Press the System Menu/Counter key.
2 Press the S key or the T key to select System
Setting.
3 Press the Enter key.
4 Press the S key or the T key to select Network
Setting.
