“Whitelist” Proxy Support for Sylantro Servers

To protect your IP phone network, you can configure a “whitelist” proxy feature
that screens incoming call requests received by Aastra IP phones. When this
feature is enabled, an IP phone accepts call requests from a trusted proxy server
only. The IP phone rejects any call requests from an untrusted proxy server.

Configuring Whitelist Proxy Support Using Configuration Files

You use the following parameter to configure the whitelist proxy feature in the
configuration files:

• sip whitelist

Description

This parameter enables/disables the whitelist proxy feature, as follows:

Set to 0 to disable the feature.

Set to 1 to enable the feature. When enabled, the IP phone rejects
call requests received from an untrusted proxy server.
