What is an Action list?

The Remote Commander (RM-AX4000) allow s you to program an action procedure for individual keys or buttons. A series of actions programmed for a key or
button is called an "Action list." Several actions are performed sequentially, just by pressing the key or button.

Example of an Action list

For example, if you program the follow ing actions for a key to select channel 123 for TV, these operations are performed automatically in sequence by simply
pressing one key.

1.

Turn on the TV.

2.

Press "1" on the TV's remote control.

3.

Press "2" on the TV's remote control.

4.

Press "3" on the TV's remote control.

5.

Press the "Enter" key on the TV's remote control.

The above actions are programmed as the Action list show n below .

The processes (actions) of "pow er on," and "pressing the number key," and "pressing the Enter key" are usually preset to specific keys on a component. To
add these kinds of actions to an Action list, refer to the actions of existing keys using Alias actions - (1), (3), (4), (5), and (6).
Note that AV components may not accept subsequent remote control signals immediately after pow ering on. Therefore, use the Delay action command - (2) -
to set an interval after the pow er on action that turns an AV component on.

Hint

You can also change the order of the Action list, rather than inserting a Delay action command.
Using the follow ing list as an example, if you rearrange the action order, the Delay actions can be omitted because the remote control signal is not sent to the
same AV component consecutively.
