Editing an Action list ("Edit Actions" dialog box)

The "Edit actions" dialog box allow s you to add/change/delete the actions of an Action list (a series of actions) and change its order.

Hint

You can edit the Action list (macro) in the same w ay as you edit a

Start macro/Exit macro

for an

XPRESS key

in the "Edit Start Macro" dialog box or in the "Exit

Macro" dialog box.

Action lis t

Lists a series of actions programmed for a key/button. By clicking the action in the Action list, the action is selected.

Note

If an Action list includes an

invalid action

, the action is grayed out.

Changes the action order.

If you select an action on the Action list and click

, the selected action moves one step up.

If you select an action on the Action list and click

, the selected action moves one step dow n.

Hint

You can also change the action order by dragging and dropping on the Action list.

[De le te ]
Deletes the selected action on the Action list by clicking "Delete."

Hint

If you delete the Learn+ action, the setting is reset to preset (Preset action).

[De lay]

Adds a Delay action to the Action list. This action allow s you to set an interval betw een actions.

By clicking "Delay," the "Set delay time" dialog box appears. Enter the number of the interval time from 0.1 to 60.0 seconds, then click "OK." The Delay action
is added.

[Jum p]

Adds a Jump action to the Action list.

By clicking "Jump," the "Select Display" dialog box appears. Select the display you w ant to jump to (after pressing a key/button) and click "OK." The Jump
action is added to the Action list.

[Pre s e t]

Adds a Preset action to the Action list.

By clicking "Preset," the "Selected Preset Code" dialog box appears. Click the Preset action you w ant to program, then click "OK." The selected Preset action
is added.

[Le arn]

Adds a Learn action (or a Learn+ action) to the Action list.

By clicking "Learn," the "Learn" dialog box appears. This dialog box allow s you to teach the remote control signal of an AV component to a key/button for a
component or XPRESS key. For further details, see "

Hints

A Learn action is added w hen you teach the signal to a key/button that does not have a Preset action. A Learn+ action replaces the Preset action if you
teach to a key/button that has a Preset action.

You can program up to four Learn actions (or Learn+ actions) to one key/button. If you taught several remote control signals to one key/button, the
signal is sent in the order in w hich the signal is taught, w ith each press of the key/button.

Add an Alias action

Adds an Alias action to the Action list. This action allow s you to program the key/button to perform the same action programmed for other keys/buttons.

Com pone nt/Function

Click

and select a component or a function (XPRESS/System Control/ALL OFF) you w ant to refer to from the drop-dow n list.

If you select a component, the "Key on the LCD" and "Hard key" tabs appear under the drop-dow n list.

If you select "XPRESS," the programmed XPRESS list appears.

If you select "System Control," the programmed System Control list appears.

"ALL OFF" is the

Active code

to send a signal of "turning off all the components that make up an XPRESS key." If you select "ALL OFF" and click "Add,"

the Alias action to send the Active code is added to the Action list.

[Ke y on the LCD] tab

Displays the keys of the selected component.

If you click the key you w ant to refer to and click "Add," the Alias action programmed for the key is added to the Action list.

[Hard k e y] tab

Displays the buttons on the Remote Commander.

If you click the button you w ant to refer to and click "Add," the Alias action programmed for the button is added to the Action list.

XPRESS lis t/Sys te m Control lis t

If you click an XPRESS function/System Control and click "Add," the Alias action programmed for the XPRESS/System Control list is added to the Action
list.
