Enter or re-enter your 4-digit
password using the numeric
buttons, then press ENTER.
The display for setting the playback
limitation level appears on the TV
screen.

Press  or  repeatedly to select
“STANDARD,” then press ENTER.
The options for “STANDARD” appear
on the TV screen.

Press  or  repeatedly to
select a geographic area as the
playback limitation level, then
press ENTER.
The area is selected.
When you select “OTHERS ,”
enter the area code for the geographic
area you want by using the numeric
buttons (see “Parental Control area
code list” (page 135)).

Press  or  repeatedly to select
“LEVEL,” then press ENTER.
The options for “LEVEL” appear on
the TV screen.

Press  or  repeatedly to select
the desired level, then press
ENTER.
“PARENTAL CONTROL” setting is
completed.
The lower the value, the stricter the
limitation.
To turn off the “PARENTAL CONTROL”
function
Set “LEVEL” to “OFF” in step 10.
To change the password

Press  or  repeatedly to select
“CHANGE PASSWORD,” then press
ENTER in step 7 of “Restricting
playback of the disc.”

Enter your 4-digit password using the
numeric buttons, then press ENTER.

Enter a new 4-digit password using
the numeric buttons, then press
ENTER.

To confirm your password, re-enter
it using the numeric buttons, then
press ENTER.
