3.3.3 Control > Queue

The

Queue

module, unlike

Serve

and

Guide

, is a client server system, not a web-based

application. Because the

Printgroove

modules work in sync, the system administrator can control

user login access to the

Queue

module. Click on Queue in the modules list to view or change

Queue user login status. Again, the current status will show in the right-hand panel. Click on
Disable to prevent users from logging in to

Queue

.

Since disabling any of the modules prevents any users from logging into the application, it is
recommended that you only disable the module(s) when system use is minimal. It is also suggested
that you warn any users that you are about to shut down a module, so they may finish their work
and log off.

When a user attempts to login, or logs out immediately after a module has been disabled by
::ADMIN, they will receive a message informing them that the system is “down for maintenance.”
