6.11 Sending a long original (Long Original)
Long Original
Function that sends pages having a length of more than 432mm (17 inch).
Original of a length of up to 1000mm (39-1/4 inch) can be sent by specifying Long Original setting.

Note
Use ADF. Long Original cannot be faxed using original glass.
Long Original does not correspond to multiple page original. When long original is to be sent, load the
original page by page in ADF.
Following functions cannot be used simultaneously.
2-Sided, Frame Erase, Mixed Original, Binding Position, Separate Scan settings, Polling RX, Bulletin
board Polling RX and Preview.
Sending the fax after specifying Long Original setting

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.
– For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6.

Touch [Original Settings].

Touch [Long Original].
– Touch [Long Original] again to cancel the settings.

Touch [OK].
Returns to Fax/Scan screen.
