Registering the Address Book

E-mail addresses, fax numbers of the destinations to which fax is sent frequently and registered boxes can
be registered in Address Book. The registered Address Book can be used from [From Address Book] tab of
Fax/Scan screen.

A maximum of 2000 destinations (0001 - 2000) including scanner destinations and destinations of other
functions of this machine can be registered.

If search characters are registered at the time of registering the destinations, the destinations can be
specified using the search characters.

Operations of Address Book registration, changing registered destinations and deleting registered
destinations are explained below.

Note

The registration is not possible if the name and the destination in the registration screen are not set.

Detail

Address Book, Group destination and Program destination can be registered using PageScope Web
Connection.

If PageScope Web Connection is used, settings changes and destination registrations can be made
from a network computer.
For details on the using PageScope Web Connection, refer to the User’s Guide [PageScope Web
Connection Operations].

The registered contents can be checked on the Speed Dial List.
For details on Speed Dial List, refer to "Speed Dial List (Address Book destination list)" on page 11-32.

Registering the fax number in Address Book

Follow the procedure given below to register Fax numbers in the Address Book.

Display Create One-Touch Destination screen.

For details on display methods of Create One-Touch Destination screen, refer to "Displaying the fax
registration screen" on page 9-2.

Touch [Address Book (Public)].

In the Utility mode, the number displayed on button can be entered and selected on the keypad. For
[Address Book (Public)], enter [1] on the keypad.
