Setting Options Explanation
HDMI
TV Input TV(ARC) Select this to input the audio of a TV compatible with HDMI audio return
channel (ARC) via HDMI.
Also set [Control] to [On].
This also enables the input to be switched to [TV(ARC)] when TV on the
remote control is pressed.
Optical IN-1 Select this to input the audio of a TV to the OPT IN 1 terminal with an optical
digital audio cable.
This also enables the input to be switched to [Optical IN-1] when TV on the
remote control is pressed.
Network
IP Address Setting Select this to set the IP address of the unit and DNS server. (page 50)
Proxy Server Only set the proxy server if so instructed by your Internet service provider. (page 51)
Information Displays the values of the MAC address, IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS server
(primary) and DNS server (secondary). (page 51)
Connection Test Select this to test the network connection. (page 51)
Internet Connection Enable Select this when connecting to the Internet.
Disable Select this when not connecting to the Internet.
DLNA Enable Select this when connecting to DLNA server.
Disable Select this when not connecting to DLNA server.
Application Standby Mode On The functions of a dedicated application (ControlApp) installed on a mobile
device can be used even when the unit is in standby mode.
Off The functions of a dedicated application (ControlApp) installed on a mobile
device cannot be used when the unit is in standby mode.
Interface Ethernet Select when using a LAN cable to connect to the network.
Wireless Select when connecting wirelessly to the network.
Wireless Setting Perform settings for a wireless network connection (page 22).
Language
OSD available languages Choose a language for the on-screen displays from the listed languages. (page
51)
Playback
DivX ® VOD DRM Registration Code Displays the unit’s registration code required to play DivX VOD files.
Internet Setting Permitted YouTube can be watched without entering the password.
Partial Permitted The password must be entered to watch YouTube.
Prohibited YouTube can not be watched.
Play Mode Folder Play Playback files from the selected folder.
All Play Playback all files on the selected USB device.
Bluetooth
Change PIN code 0000 Sets the PIN code to 0000.
1234 Sets the PIN code to 1234.
8888 Sets the PIN code to 8888.
BT Transmitter On Select this to use the unit as a Bluetooth transmitter. (page 38)
Off Select this to use the unit as a Bluetooth receiver.
Bluetooth Device Search Search for devices that can be connected. Select a device and connect to it. (page 38)
Bluetooth Standby Mode On Select this to switch Bluetooth to the connection standby state even when the
unit is in standby mode. (page 38)
Off The Bluetooth device function cannot be used when the unit is in standby
mode.
Security
Change Password Register the password for canceling the lock for viewing YouTube. (page 51). The default
password is “0000”.
