Problem Check Remedy
Power won’t turn ON. Check the battery’s remaining charge state. Connect the AC
adapter and charge the battery.
Can’t charge the battery.
Battery indicator flashes
purple intermittently (flashing
purple light or regular
flashing of purple and other
color light). Is the accessory AC adapter connected properly? Try disconnecting
the AC adapter then reconnecting it.
Is the ambient temperature correct for charging? Charge the battery
only when the ambient temperature is between 5 ºC and 35 ºC.
Operating time is very short. Is the ambient temperature too low? In cold environments, the
battery will provide shorter playing time.
Has the battery pack reached the end of its useful life? If time
required for recharging has become long, or playing time becomes
extremely short even after full recharging, the battery pack has likely
reached the end of its usable life.
A battery can ordinarily be recharged about 300 times, but this
number may be shorter depending on surrounding conditions
during play and storage.
If you wish to have your unit's battery replaced, consult your Pioneer
service station.
